On Tuesday, 12 February 2019, the ten most promising business plans of the first phase of AC² – the start-up competition 2018/19 were awarded 250 euros each at the DigitalChirch Aachen.
The founding team of Autonome Energiesysteme has developed a solution to recycle organic and plastic waste directly on site using a pyrolysis process. The product can either be stored temporarily as oil or used for energy. The founding team consists of process engineers Marco Karber and Andres Sheldrick and industrial engineer Jonas Bonus. The team is supported by Dr. Ralf Schmelter as an AC² mentor.
During the award ceremony, each of the ten award-winning teams presented their business idea in a two-minute short talk (elevator pitch). For all 118 start-up projects of AC² – the start-up competition 2018/19, it is now time for the second phase, at the end of which there will be a feasible detailed business plan.
